Lane Parke Hosts Fifth Annual Tapas & Taps Benefitting Libby’s Friends

Enjoy a taste of Lane Parke and Mountain Brook at Tapas and Taps on Thursday, October 2 from 5:30 – 7:30pm! Guests can find samples from Birmingham breweries, bites from local restaurants, and raffle items from some of your favorite Mountain Brook retailers, all benefiting Mountain Brook’s local non-profit, Libby’s Friends.

For the fifth year in a row, Lane Parke will host this community-favorite event in the parking lot near Ignite Cycle. Taste beers from favorite local breweries and distilleries including Dread River, Good People and more! Food samples from your favorite Mountain Brook restaurants include Little Betty, Sol y Luna, Rougaroux, Habitat Feed & Social, Char Bar and Chop n Fresh. Plus, Locanda Brasato, the newest restaurant to join Lane Parke expected to open later this fall, will be popping up. The event will also include live music, raffle items and pop-up vendors for attendees to eat, dine and shop!

This year’s event will benefit Libby’s Friends! Libby’s Friends is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit dedicated to easing the financial burden faced by families raising children with special needs—helping cover costs like wheelchairs, adaptive equipment, and therapies that often aren’t fully covered by insurance. Their mission is to support families through the most challenging gaps so they can focus on enjoying life with their extraordinary children.

“Tapas and Taps is one of our favorite events to host at Lane Parke! Not only is it a great way to enjoy all that Lane Parke and Mountain Brook have to offer, but it benefits such an amazing organization,” said Tori Krupa, marketing associate for Crawford Square Real Estate Advisors. “This event is perfect to grab your friends and enjoy a night out while giving back to the community.”
